IOW Day 2

Another fabulous day on the Isle of Wight with a great visit at Osborne House. Tom noticed some inconsistencies in the "table decking" (place settings) - the distance between knives was not consistent ... he wasn't impressed! Oscar also managed to find himself in the Royal family tree...lucky him! For lunch today, we had a picnic on the grounds of the House in the glorious sunshine. Thank you to Mr Ruckley who saved the day and carried our lunches all the way into the gardens. We then took a stroll down to the beach and had an ice-cream (Mr Andrews certainly enjoyed his); and we learnt how to skim stones! Finally, we visited the Swiss Cottage and had a go at dressing up. Hopefully, Charlotte enjoyed her birthday: a very busy day indeed, which did tire some children out, as  you can see! The children are now all in bed (mostly - we hope - asleep) and we look forward to another day of fun tomorrow with a visit to the model village, Amazon World and Lazer and bowling in the evening. All in all, expect some very tired children Friday afternoon!
